Corn Chowda with Bacon, Leeks, and Avocado

Saute chopped leeks in butter and extra virgin olive oil, season with s+p /  add chopped bacon  /  when brownish but not yet crisp, add chunked yukon gold potatoes and a handful chopped green beans and saute   /add a fat splash of dry white wine and let reduce a bit   /  add 3 ears fresh corn and chicken stock, bring to a light boil, cover and simmer on low until the potatoes are cooked through   /   Add a nice dose of heavy cream or half/half  and adjust seasoning  /   Garnish with sliced avocado, fresh cilantro and wedges of lime, and crumbled crispy bacon.
