Fava Beans and Anchovies

with garlic, parsley, lemon, + olive oil…..you in?

Blister whole pods (yes, whole pods) over a grill (or screaming hot cast iron pan) and drizzle with olive oil. Let beans steam while pods blister and pop.

Saute chopped garlic in olive oil and melt in a few anchovies, add chopped parsley and cracked pepper. Set aside while beans are finishing (about 8-10 minutes from start to finish)

Toss pods in sauce, squeeze lemon over, and  serve. Eat edamame style, squeezing the beans out while sucking up all the juices.

Finger food at it’s best.
